CTBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd. is the most international financial institution in Taiwan. It has domestic and overseas subsidiaries including CTBC Bank, Taiwan Life, CTBC Securities, CTBC Venture Capital, CTBC Asset Management, CTBC Investments, CTBC Finance, CTBC Security, and Taiwan Lottery.

CTBC Holding’s key subsidiary, CTBC Bank, was established in 1966. It is the biggest credit card issuer, and also the most well-established and international privately-owned bank. CTBC Bank has the most extensive international presence of any Taiwanese bank, with outlets worldwide (office, branch, subsidiary, branch of subsidiary) located including in the U.S., Canada, Japan, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Australia, Vietnam, and China.
